A hands-on session, founded on current research, where participants have the opportunity to build their knowledge and put into practice and reflect on how to manage an effective reading programme. Links will be made to the Registered Teacher Criteria throughout the programme. Attendees will be able to set up an effective, curriculum-based reading programme, use assessment tools to analyse data and make an overall teacher judgement.

It starts with the big picture ideas about the Number Framework and looks at proven teaching strategies, lots of activities and practical ideas about assessment.
