About International
What Accent Learning offers international clients
In addition to the services and consultancies delivered to the New Zealand education sector, Accent Learning delivers programmes and services to other countries. These are primarily for foreign nationals who come to New Zealand for professional development, but in-country services are also available.
Our highly-qualified Education Advisers have academic and senior school leadership backgrounds and are expert in the theory and practice of teaching and learning. They provide professional support to school leaders in workshop settings, seminars and school-based interventions.
Accent Learning has grown out of the Faculty of Education at Victoria University and continues to be informed by the complementary capabilities of the Faculty. Our programmes are based on knowledge gained from international research and exposure to some of the worlds leading educational thinkers. Our managers and staff are experts in the implementation of the New Zealand Curriculum, which has links to developments within the OECD and is internationally held in high regard for its innovative approach to education. Because of its history and the increasingly diverse nature of New Zealand society, we are well versed in communicating and working in cross-cultural contexts.
Accent has strong professional networks with a wide range of institutions and professional organisations within New Zealand, and organises collaborations where appropriate. If you would like to discuss further the help we can offer you, please contact us.
