Operation Friendship

FRIENDSHIP HIGH: Officials see NZ with the help of Kiwi friends
FRIENDSHIP HIGH: Officials see NZ with the help of Kiwi friends

F for Fun; F for food; F for family.

It’s all about having fun, eating lots of good food, in our homes, on picnics, at barbecues, at parties.  We are family for people missing their own families, welcoming international students into our own homes and families.

Operation Friendship began in the US in the seventies, now operates in Japan, Canada, Germany and New Zealand. It began in NZ in 1990 and in Wellington in 1994.

Hundreds of international students, both from ELTO and undergraduates have experienced the great fun, the good food and the love and friendship that they miss so much when away from home.
